The buildings were erected at the beginning of the 20th Century, outside the former town walls, at the currently non-existent branch of the Oława river. The dairy and the mill were the signs of the rapid agricultural and food industry growth at the turn of the 19th and 20th Century. Initially, the mill was driven by a water wheel moved by the Oława river flow; later, electric drive was installed. Both plants existed until 1990s. After winding up of the dairy and milling business, they were adapted for residential and commercial purposes.
