“Anbruch 1856” Stone in Bishop’s Forest

In the past, a number of basalt quarries were located in the Bishop's Forest. One of the quarries, filled with frozen water, was a scene of an accident, commemorated with a stone with the engraving words “Anbruch 1856” (“Anbruch” is German for breakdown).
