The Eagle Statue in the Town Park in Münsterberg

Ziębice

The Eagle Statue in the Town Park is ca. 9 m high and 12 m wide, and is the largest ceramic statue in Europe. The massive statue of the Piast Eagle, made by Tadeusz Teller and placed in 1971 on a hill with a beautiful vista of the town and its surrounding areas. At the foot of the statue, soil from the battlefields and places of martyrdom of Poles in World War II was deposited. It is a great viewing point and resting place for a stop during a tour of the town.
