Heading west through the Golden Mountains and Bardzkie Mountains, you can reach the picturesque town of Bardo (Wartha), located at the canyon of the Nysa Kłodzka river.

Cosmas of Prague mentions in his chronicle the devastation of the settlement in Bardo in 1096 by the troops of Bretislav II.
